• Start by choosing one of our bikes or frames available for Custom Color
    Coating from the Available Bikes or Frames pages or indicate that you will be
    supplying us with your own Frame or Bike on the Powder Coating Form on the
    following page
  • If you choose one of our bikes you will be discounted 40% off the cost of the original
    price - this does not include the Powder Coating process. Individuals suppling their
    own Frame or Bike must Ship it to the address on the Powder Coating Form.

  • Next pick one or two colors you would like the Bike or Frame Powder Coated
  • Enter the corresponding number next to the color into the form. There are several
    color examples on the page as well as link to an vast array of colors. For some
    reason, if you do not see the color you want,  you should contact us via email with a
    sample of the color and we will confirm it is available. A sample will be sent you
    prior to us accepting the order.

  • If you are choosing colors for your University or School let us know which it is
    as we maybe able to supply you with your school decal or direct you to a sight
    that supplies them ( you will need to apply it - we cannot  because of licencing
    requirements.)

  • Cost for Custom Powder Coating Frames:
  • A one custom color coating for a frame is $225 a two color coating is $245. This
    includes the frame being shipped from www.BulldogBikeRestoration.com to our
    Coating Partner, the frame goes through an extensive process to get it ready to be
    color coated, first it  will be sandblasted and dipped to remove all old paint and rust. It
    will then be de-greased and a lighter sandblasting before the coating process begins.
    This entails the frame being heated to a certain level before being sprayed then
    reheated to activate the coating. It is then cooled and clear coated over the color.
    (keep in mind bikes purchased through the www.BulldogBikeRestoration.com will
    receive a 40% discount on the bike or frame)

  • Cost for Custom Coating Frames from Complete Bikes:
  • There is an additional $75 fee for disassembling and then reassembling the bike
    after going through the Color Coating Process.

  • Payments for the Powder Coating Program will be ultimately be handled
    through PayPal - In the meantime, we are accepting Cashier Checks or Money
    Orders
  • A 50% deposit will be required for the Bike/Frame and Powder Coating. The
    deposit is non-refundable so be certain of the colors you are selecting. To order a
    custom Powder Coated Bike/Frame you must complete out the Paypal section of
    the form and then click the Paypal button which will direct you to our Paypal
    account where you can pay your deposit with a Credit Card or through your own
    Paypal account.

  • Final Confirmation:-
  • Once the Powder Coating process is completed, pictures of your Frame will be
    emailed to you for confirmation. Once www.BulldogBikeRestoration.com has
    received an approval confirmation email from you - the balance must be paid through
    Paypal. If you live in the Metro DC area, you may prefer to pick up the bike/frame at
    which time the balance can be paid. (Pictures will be of the Frame only).

  • - Out of Region Shipping:
  • For customers out of the Metro region there will be an additional shipping charge
    depending on your location which will be added to your final invoice through Paypal..
