Our Custom Powder Coating Program

Powder Coating is a process where a bike is totally
dismantled then the frame is de-greased,
sandblasted to remove all of the previous paint and
rust. Once this is completed the frame is heated to
over 450 degrees and sprayed with millions of
particles of a specially designed plastic which
adhere and melt to the bare metal resulting in a
pristine coating significantly more durable than any
paint.  The frame can be rebuilt with either the
original components if they are intact, similar
components from that period or specially ordered
components if you choose. Ultimately you have a
"new" custom bike designed to your specifications.
Below is our most recent project  where a used
vintage German frame was transformed into an
awesome lightweight flat black 10 speed equipped
with all period alloy components and rims with new
tires, cables and cable coating

    A Marketing Restoration!

vintage harmony bike from Holland into clean
coordinated color scheme for a clients apparel
shop. The Harmony was in rough condition - a
lot of rust, Our latest powder coating project
was to transform a design made for a very
challenging undertaking. But design made for a
very challenging undertaking. But in the end,
the endless hours of disassembling it, in the
end, the endless hours of disassembling it,
shipping the frame to be sandblasted and
powder coated and then reassembling to the
clients specifics was worth it - the bike is "like
new"  -a beautiful green and off-white with
black which now is having the shop's name and
website added to the tire and chain guards.
What a great practical avenue to market the
client's shop! If you have a bike are interested
in having it restored and colored contact us at

Additional Update for Assistant Positions
Great opportunity for individuals who love working on bikes no matter what needs to be
done - our motto is that no bike goes out that you wouldn't want to give to a loved one of
yours and we definitely do not want any coming back - so we are especially thorough
making sure every bike is in reliable working and physical condition.

One assistant positions is filled and unfortunately, will only be able to work through July
- therefore I am actually still looking for two more assistants - one who can start
immediately and continue year round. The other would begin in August and also work
year round. My hope is  to find individuals with the same level of experience but who are
serious and excited about potentially having an opportunity to be a part of a company
that is based on the basic "green" premise of recycling used  bikes, as well as
branching out to expand on new ideas to recycle bicycles and each part, creating new
concepts for old bikes as well as marketing recycled bikes to reach the needs of
anyone! Interested candidates must have some personal or professional detailed
experience working on bikes. Aside from assisting with repairs and tune-ups, candidates
must understand that these are used bikes that take a significant amount of time to
restore, much of that includes cleaning rust and dirt without being discouraged.
Additional responsibilities will be included.
Candidates must be able to start at 20 hours a week and work up to 35. Candidates
must be able to work 4 to 7 hours 4 days a week as well as Saturday afternoons.

Candidates need to be hard working, capable of following directions and willing to learn.
